Okay, this one’s a little silly — and that’s exactly why I love it. I wired this tiny speaker onto my Freego X2 Pro e-bike (red and black to the headlight’s positive and ground, white wire to the throttle signal), and it actually works: twist the throttle and the “engine” revs right along with you.
Let’s be real, though — it sounds more like a toy motorcycle than a Harley, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. But for around thirty bucks it’s a genuinely fun mod, the housing is waterproof, and it runs off the bike’s own 12–80V system, so there’s no extra battery to fuss with. If you’re tired of your e-bike sneaking up on pedestrians in total silence, this is a cheap way to announce yourself.
- 110dB output — loud enough to actually be heard in traffic
- Runs on DC12–80V at 5W — taps straight into your ride’s own wiring
- ABS waterproof housing
- Built for electric scooters, go karts, e-bikes and other EVs
- Price: $29.59 with Prime (as of September 27, 2026)
Quick heads-up: you can find this same module on AliExpress for around $13–20 if you don’t mind waiting a few weeks for shipping. But on Amazon it’s $29.59 with Prime, which is the going rate — and this is the one I actually installed, so I can vouch for it.
